FSN Supervisor Training Program

FSN Training & Development Inc now offers a Supervisor Training program to help Supervisors understand their roles and responsibilities with respect to Health and Safety. The program is split in to 4 modules which can be taken over a 2 day period or can be done individually.  

Module 1 - H&S Responsibilities – This one day segment includes a review of the key sections of the Occupational Health and Safety Act outlining the expectations of supervisors and others with respect to health and safety. It also includes a review of other regulations that supervisors should be aware of such at Reg 213/91 Construction Projects, Reg 851 Industrial Establishments and Reg 860 WHMIS. The regulation review can be targeted at the specific regulations that apply to supervisors involved.

Modules 2, 3 & 4 - Supervisor Skills Training – This too is a one day session to help supervisors more effectively deal with their day to day activities. It includes discussions and exercises to help them become better at problem solving, managing their time and more effectively communicating with the various parties that they deal with.
Also included in this segment are two modules that outline the steps to be taken with respect to worksite inspections and accident investigations.
