The following are specialty programs that some jurisdictions require training in.

Propane Barbecue Awareness

Course Details

This course is an awareness program that teaches the safe handling of propane cylinders and barbecues. It is intended for company, municipal or institutional workers who operate noncommercial barbecues in the workplace or individuals who use a barbecue in a public place.

Length of Course: 2 Hours
Prerequisites: None
Validity: 3 Years

Propane Barbecue Awareness

ROT for Food Vendors

Course Details

TSSA requires that people operating mobile food equipment and commercial barbecues, fuelled by propane, be in possession of a CH-02 Record of Training. 

Length of Course: 4 Hours
Prerequisites: None
Validity: 3 Years
