Internal Combustion Engine (ICE)

The Propane Vehicle courses include both the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) and vehicle inspection programs. All courses meet the requirements of the B149.5, Installation Code for Propane Fuel Systems and Tanks on Highway Vehicles, the B109 Natural Gas for Vehicles Installation Code. Students receive a licence from TSSA or the provincial authority having jurisdiction for the ICE programs.

ICE-P (Propane)

Course Details

This course is a provincially certified program for mechanics wanting to convert to or service over the propane-powered vehicles and industrial vehicles.

The program is intended for mechanics who convert engines to propane or service propane powered engines.

Length of Course: 2 Days
Prerequisites: Mechanic's Licence
Validity: 1 or 3 Years depending on province

Course Details

This course is a provincially certified program for mechanics wanting to convert to or service over the road natural gas-powered vehicles and industrial vehicles. It is intended for mechanics who convert engines to natural gas or service natural gas-powered vehicles.

Length of Course: 2 Days
Prerequisites: Mechanic's Licence
Validity: 1 or 3 Years depending on province
