Propane Training:
Filling Propane Cylinders & Automotive Tanks

Working with propane can be dangerous without the right safety training course. Our propane safety training gives students a thorough understanding of how to work with propane to ensure their health and safety. These TSSA approved courses provide students with comprehensive knowledge of propane dispensing station operations, safety protocols and propane safe handling procedures.

Anyone dispensing propane is required to receive approved training, which includes both classroom theory and a practical hands-on component. Students complete a written exam and go through a practical hands-on testing. Following successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, also known as a Record of Training (ROT).

In addition to filling propane cylinders, a section on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is covered to satisfy Transport Canada regulations.
