Scissor and Boom Lifts

Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP's) include a wide range of equipment used to help companies work at heights. Scissor Lifts and Boom Lifts are two of the most common pieces of elevating equipment. Common brand names for these pieces of equipment include JLG, SkyJack, and Genie. MEWP's are sometimes called Aerial Work Platforms (AWP's) or Elevated Work Platforms (EWP's).

Course Details

This course provides training and certification for anyone operating a boom and/or scissorlift on a job-site. It is intended for construction workers who have already completed their CPO Approved Working at Heights.

Length of Course: 4 Hours

Maximum Number of Students: 8
Prerequisites: CPO Approved Working at Heights
Validity: 3 Years

Note:

Equipment must be available on-site for hands-on component.

Students must have proof of CPO Working at Heights, a harness in good condition, and any other PPE required at the site location.

Course Details

This course provides training and certification for anyone operating a boom and/or scissor lift in an industrial setting. This program includes lift specific fall protection training for industrial and retail establishments.

Maximum Number of Students: 8
Prerequisites: None
Validity: 3 Years
